The Philadelphia 76ers have been spoken about as a team that could conduct a trade this offseason and there may be a trade in the works right now. With the Sixers being rumored as a team that could acquire multiple players, Ben Simmons' sister posted a cryptic tweet of a potential trade.

At the beginning of the offseason, the Sixers decided to go with Doc Rivers as their new head coach. At the same time, they chose to hire Daryl Morey as their new president of basketball operations.

Seeing that Philadelphia had a new infrastructure in place, many have wondered what the Sixers will do with Simmons and Joel Embiid. While Embiid's name hasn't been mentioned in trade rumors, Simmons has had his name mentioned in trades for James Harden.

Despite the rumors though, Stadium's Shams Charania has reported that Philadelphia has no interest in including Simmons in any trade for Harden. But maybe the Sixers have changed course on how they feel about Simmons?

Of course, Simmons' sister could be making assumptions on something that could happen with the Sixers. So, while her tweet definitely raises some eyebrows, her tweet shouldn't be taken as a definitive source.

Ever since Simmons was selected by the Sixers in the 2016 NBA Draft, many have been calling for him to develop a consistent three-point shot. However, the former No. 1 overall pick has been reluctant to evolve his outside shooting, which has limited Philadelphia in the playoffs.

With that being said, it will be worth monitoring the news on Tuesday to see if Simmons' sister was correct on her assessment.
