Philadelphia 76ers head coach isn't a fan of the whole work-from-home set-up. On Monday, the 59-year-old head coach called out Jackson Frank of DIME for seemingly lacking some energy in their post-game interview. And, Doc was right on the money.

“Jackson are you in bed right now?” Rivers asked, leaving the reporter no choice but to admit that he was indeed laying on his bed while on the call. “Jesus Christ, Jackson.” added the 76ers coach before putting out a huge chuckle.

In his defense, Jackson clarified that he was laying ON his bed and not IN his bed.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the ways things are done in the NBA with post-game pressers and other interviews all being done from distance. This gives everyone a chance to stay safe and still be able to do their jobs, including journalists and reporters. Thing is, we've all been doing these video calls for almost a year now and we all know how telling someone's tone can be. The Sixers tactician wasn't letting this one slip.

Rivers has made a name for himself for being one of the most intense tacticians in the NBA. The former champion coach and Sixers player himself always puts his heart on the sleeve when he steps foot on a basketball court and has always expected nothing but the same intensity from his players. Now, we're seeing that Rivers also expects the same commitment to the craft when it comes to the media.

Good thing for Mr. Frank, Rivers was having himself a great day on Monday. With Ben Simmons out with an apparent flu, Rivers had to heavily rely once again on Joel Embiid who put on a show with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead the Sixers to a 118-113 win over the Houston Rockets.
