In the win, Harden finished with 26 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Sixers. He was even efficient shooting 62 percent from field, going 8-13. MVP Front runner Joel Embiid had another stellar night, dropping 27 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.

What might really make this team dangerous though is the emergence of Tyrese Maxey. Now that he is the third, and sometimes fourth option with Tobias Harris in the mix, Maxey gets a lot of clean looks. He made good use of them Wednesday, scoring 25 points on 7-12 shooting.

Since Harden began playing with Philadelphia, they are 3-0 with an average margin of victory of 21 points. Harden and Embiid playing the two man game has looked nearly unstoppable. Any question as to whether they would gel together has been answered already. The rest of the Eastern Conference should be on notice, if not the entire NBA.
