Philadelphia 76ers fans have anxiously been awaiting their first chance to see star trade-acquisition James Harden in action. Well, the date for The Beard's Sixers debut has been revealed. Harden was acquired by the Sixers at the trade deadline in a blockbuster deal that saw Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond, along with draft capital, head to Brooklyn. He has yet to feature for the team as he's been recovering from hamstring tightness, but it looks as if the All-Star break gave him enough rest to get back onto the court.

Simmons had not featured in a single game for the Sixers this year as he looked to force a move from the team, and Harden's growing disdain with Brooklyn resulted in the long-rumored trade coming to life at the deadline. After months of wishful thinking over the idea of Harden in a Sixers jersey, that dream will become a reality on Friday night.
This season with the Nets, Harden averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game, but the star trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Harden failed to acclimate as they had hoped. Harden will look to leave that in the past and focus on the future in Philly.
Tip-off for the Sixers-Timberwolves clash is scheduled for 8:00 PM ET on Friday, Feb. 25, in Minnesota, at which point the next chapter in Harden's quest for a ring will unfold, and fans will finally get to see the duo of Joel Embiid and Harden take the court together.
