If there’s one thing Joel Embiid has — beyond immense talent at playing the game of basketball — it’s confidence.

The Philadelphia 76ers big man is one of the premier trash talkers in the league today, but he backs it up with sterling play on both ends of the court.

On Tuesday night, the Sixers defeated the Brooklyn Nets to finish off a 4-1 series victory. After the game, Embiid displayed that boundless confidence and cited that they can win it all with the talent they have in the team.

Indeed, Joel Embiid has every reason to be confident, as his Sixers might have the best pound-for-pound starting lineup in the league. All those starters played extremely well in the team’s blowout win over Brooklyn, to boot.

However, there are some concerns surrounding the Sixers espite Embiid’s braggadocio. For one, Embiid’s health is always a question mark.

Moreover, despite the fact that depth matters less in the playoffs than it does in the regular season, the Sixers still have a supreme lack of it across the board. Other than the big man spots where Embiid can be spotted by Boban Marjanovic, Amir Johnson, Greg Monroe and Jonah Bolden, the other positions are extremely lacking depth.

The Sixers-Raptors match-up in the second round should be a terrific series. Time will tell if Embiid’s prediction rings true.
