Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers pulled out an intense 125-118 victory over the Washington Wizards in Game 1 of their first-round series. The Sixers star put up 30 points and got the last laugh after Wizards star Bradley Beal trolled him multiple times throughout the game.

Check out Beal actin' a fool:

Embiid bounced back from early foul trouble to put forth his monstrous effort. He shot 9-of-16 from the field and 12-of-13 from the foul line, including several clutch bucket and free throws as the Sixers secured the win late. Things did get dicey thanks to a bad turnover by Embiid and some missed free throws by Ben Simmons, but Philly was still able to pull out the win to go up 1-0 in the series.

A crazy Wizards turnover in the final minute helped the Sixers' cause. Russell Westbrook went to retrieve an errant Daniel Gafford pass in the backcourt and barely went out of bounds:

The Wizards took advantage of Embiid's foul trouble in the first half, taking a one-point lead at halftime. But the Sixers surged with Embiid on the court and out of foul trouble in the second half. Philly outscored Washington by 20 points in his 30 minutes on the court.

While Embiid was definitely awesome, Tobias Harris deserves a ton of credit as well. Harris helped carry the Sixers early with Embiid on the bench, and he wound up with a playoff career-high 37 points on 15-of-29 shooting. He slumped a bit in the fourth quarter, but we can forgive him after his amazing first half.

Seth Curry also played a key role in the winning with 15 points. While he left the game early with an injury, he returned to spark Philly in the second half.

Beal led the Wizards with 33 points.

Game 2 is on Wednesday night.
