The Sixers are currently on a three-game losing streak. They sit in the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
Against the Bucks on Thursday, Joel Embiid was a monster. The two-time All-Star finished with a triple-double, as he racked up 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists in 36 minutes. It was Embiid's first game since March 28.
Jimmy Butler played on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks, so the Sixers rested him on Thursday since it was the second night of a back-to-back. The All-Star swingman hurt his back on March 30 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Sixers have three games left in the season. They need to finish the season strong so they don't go into the playoffs on a sour note. This is a team that has the talent to win the Eastern Conference.
Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Butler, Tobias Harris, and Embiid have only played in 10 games together. The Sixers are 8-2 in those games. Embiid has been dealing with soreness in his knee so the team has been playing it safe with him.
