The Golden State Warriors made sure on Saturday that Philadelphia 76ers center and social media wizard Joel Embiid won’t have enough material to roast the defending champions online, as they came back from a 22-point halftime deficit to defeat Embiid and company, 124-116.
Embiid still has something to say, but it’s not to lay waste on the Warriors much like what he did to the Los Angeles Lakers when they took down Lonzo Ball and crew last Wednesday. Rather, it’s to convey what lesson he learned from squaring off with Golden State while also giving props to Warriors do-it-all forward, Draymond Green.
Now we know what it feels like to blow a big lead.. Gotta stay focused to get the job done. Great learning lesson and I also love playing against Draymond #TheProcess pic.twitter.com/hGGQN1SH73

Prior to the Warriors game, the Sixers beat the Lakers 115-109 with Joel Embiid steamrolling through his defenders for 46 points to go with 15 rebounds, seven assists, and seven blocks. Thanks in large part to Green, Embiid was held down to only 21 points and eight rebounds in the following game.
Embiid likes to mock people on Twitter and Instagram, so it must have disappointed him greatly that he wasn’t able to do that to the Warriors. He’ll get plenty of chances to rib and troll other teams, though, so long as the 76ers are winning of course.
It’s just too bad we weren’t able to see Embiid post a picture on his Instagram account with the location set in Durant, Oklahoma.
