Another year is coming to a close and it's good to see that some things don't change. For example, Joel Embiid's troll jobs.

The Philadelphia 76ers came away with a 117-96 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday night with Embiid tallying a monster double-double effort of 36 points and 13 rebounds. But perhaps, his most beautiful work was getting into the skin of Wizards center Montrezl Harrell.

Embiid and Harrell had a heated scuffle in the third quarter. Both were assessed technical fouls but Harrell was thrown out of the contest after getting extra physical with his Sixers counterpart. After the game, Embiid fanned the flame with his biting remarks (via ESPN).

“He flopped. I don't think he made a play on the ball, and we got tangled. I wouldn't say I baited him into that. I'd like to think I'm a troll.”

Embiid surely had fun with his fiery exchange with Harrell. As the latter was being escorted out of the floor, Embiid was seen smiling and waving goodbye. Such a classic.

The Sixers' All-Star big man was not apologetic, doubling down on his trolling with a rather honest assessment.

“I'm glad I got to him.”

Joel Embiid has had his brushes with opponents in the past because of his wise-crack personality. The flare-up with Montrezl Harrell obviously didn't affect him though as he delivered another dominant showing for the Sixers, who improved to 17-16.
