After logging a total of 28 points and a block during the first two games of their Eastern Conference semi-finals matchup against the Toronto Raptors, Philadephia 76ers' All-Star center Joel Embiid erupted for 33 markers and five rejections in Game 3, leading his team to a 116-95 victory in Game 3.

Embiid has been the missing link for the Sixers in this series, as the team struggles to win whenever he's having a hard time producing on both ends of the floor. The 24 year-old big man has been dealing with knee issues and the stomach flu during the first two games, which affected his rhythm. However, he told NY Times' Harvey Araton that as soon as he felt better, his excitement for the game returned, which had something to do with his dominant performance in Game 3.

“I think for everybody that knows me, I need it. When I have fun, my game just changes. I’m always told that if I don’t smile during the game, I’m either having a bad game or I’m not into it.”

Embiid is undoubtedly the Sixers' best player, and his consistency and durability will impact the team's ability to succeed in these playoffs. They will need him to continue to ride the momentum that he's in, as they are facing one of the best teams in the East, the Raptors, in the second round.

‘The Process' started with Embiid, and right now as it progresses, it revolves around him. He has the ability to decide the outcome of the Sixers' project, and the franchise's hopes of winning a championship lies in his shoulders.
