According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, the Sixers announced that Embiid has cleared concussion protocols and participated in a team shootaround. He is still listed as out for tonight's game, just as he was yesterday, but his final status is not yet decided. In a very fortunate turn of events for Philly, they could have their MVP candidate back as they look to dig out of a 0-2 series deficit.

Embiid has suffered a torn thumb ligament, an orbital fracture and a concussion so far in the 2022 NBA playoffs. He has taken a beating but still is doing whatever he can to get back on the court for the Sixers. His toughness and ability to play through pain show his burning desire to lead Philadelphia to a title.

With Embiid back in the lineup, the Sixers could give Miami lots of problems. Although the injuries will undoubtedly hold him back, his talent is on another level. James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris need to step up in order to make the most of the. minutes that Embiid can give them.
