Philadelphia 76ers second-year point guard Markelle Fultz will work with former Los Angeles Lakers renowned physical therapist Judy Seto, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Judy Seto has worked with Lakers legend Kobe Bryant — as well as Sixers general manager Elton Brand — during their playing careers.

Markelle Fultz has been diagnosed with Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, an injury that affects nerves between the neck and shoulder resulting in abnormal functional movement and range of motion. The Sixers have announced that Fultz will be out indefinitely as he rehabs the injury.

In 19 games this season for the Sixers, Markelle Fultz is averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc and 56.8 percent from the free-throw line. He has a nasty hitch in his shot and his free-throw routine is just as ugly, and now we know why.

This sounds like a very serious injury which Fultz is dealing with. The former No. 1 overall pick has traveled comprehensively for specialist visits and trips in the past two weeks. The scoring guard needs to get his mind and body right before he comes back to the Sixers.

With the addition of Jimmy Butler, the Sixers don't need the services of Fultz, which means the guard can take his time and focus on his rehab.
