Drew Hanlen, trainer of several NBA players including Markelle Fultz of the Philadelphia 76ers, believes that the incoming second-year man will be an All-Star next season if he's fully healthy.

Per Fox Sports 1, Hanlen says that the 20-year-old will immediately become an All-Star upon his return. He also addressed the rumors that the Sixers are being cautious about Fultz and his injury history:

“We're not hiding Markelle Fultz, we're not protecting him…people are going to see the results during the season, and that's all that matters.”

I literally think that, if he’s back to 100 percent, I think he’s immediately an All-Star. I know that’s a bold statement, but I work with a lot of other All-Stars. So, I think I have the right to say that.

Fultz, the first overall pick in 2017, wasn't able to showcase his full talent last year as he sat out the majority of the season due to an injured shoulder. The injury affected him so much that the Sixers guard had to repair his jump shot as well.

When he returned to action at the tail-end of the regular season, Sixers fans were relieved to see him healthy and performing decent enough to tease them of what's in store once he's fully healthy.

Now, with training camp just around the corner, let's see how Fultz can transform himself from an injury-riddled rookie to an All-Star caliber player.
