Former Sixers No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz has yet to show game-changing improvements this season. With people still concerned with his shoulder injury last season, Fultz's trainer, Drew Hanlen, deletes a recent tweet saying that the sophomore guard is still not healthy.

Drew Corrigan of the House of Highlights pointed out Hanlen's tweet over some Twitter feud the latter had with Clint Parks, Los Angeles Lakers' Kyle Kuzma's trainer.

Hanlen has since deleted his controversial tweet in what could be an indication that the Sixers have been trying to hide Fultz's injury issues. Hanlen has worked with Markelle Fultz over the summer, with a goal to improve the young sophomore's glaring weakness on shooting.

Former Detroit Pistons legend and Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas blasted Markelle Fultz for his offseason shooting training with Hanlen.

Via Jeff Smith of the Sixers Wire:

“The thing that I would say watching this film that shocked me was – if you want to learn to shoot, please get some NBA players to teach you how to shoot,” Thomas said. “You can’t go get little guys who never played in the NBA, never faced defensive pressure – and that guy’s going to teach you to shoot? It’s not going to happen.”

Still, Hanlen is regarded across the league as a respected trainer and it would seem unfair to blame him for Fultz's shooting woes early into this season.

It remains to be seen if Markelle Fultz could still return to the deadly perimeter shooter that he was in college for the Sixers. He shot 41% from deep in his one year of college ball in Washington, one of his selling points leading up to the 2017 NBA Draft.
