Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons received his first look in NBA 2K18 and a rating of 79 to go with it. The lefty former No. 1 pick was in last year's iteration of the game, but had his rating greatly reduced in-game due to an injury that kept him out for the entire regular season.

Simmons has only played in the Summer League, which has a lot of gamers upset at his high rating with still very much to prove.
He hasn't played a NBA game…

The LSU standout was rated an 80 last season, taking only a slight hit from his NBA2K17-self coming into this 2017-18 season.
Along with his overall durability, there are still questions about his ability to shoot the ball proficiently in the NBA, as well as his physicality at the position, as he had told reporters last year he had bulked up and gained 33 pounds from the time he left school.
Ratings will be adjusted to accurately reflect his performance on the court, with the first all-around update expected to drop before Christmas season gets underway.
