The Philadelphia 76ers had plenty of opportunities to win Game 2 of their series against the Miami Heat but they didn't take advantage of their chances.

According to Derek Bodner of The Athletic, the 76ers only shot 30.2 percent on uncontested jumpers.

The ball movement was clearly good with the 76ers being able to shoot 25 three-pointers with at least four feet of space. They were only able to make 24 percent of those shots though and that is really concerning. If they were able to shoot even 40 percent of the wide open shots it would have really given the game a whole different feel.

For the Heat it has to be concerning how many wide open shots the 76ers got. If they continue to let the 76ers get wide open shots from deep pretty soon the 76ers will start to make them.

Life could also be getting tougher for the Heat if Joel Embiid is able to return in this series. After the game, Embiid took to Instagram to talk about his frustrations with not being able to play.

Embiid gave a pretty simple explanation for the frustrations of not being able to play.

“I promised the city the playoffs and I'm not on the court and I may not be on Thursday either.” Embiid told Ramona Shelburne of ESPN. “I wish more than anything that I was out there. I just want the green light to play.”

It's still unclear exactly when Embiid will return but the Heat are going to need to tighten up their play if they want to win this series.
