The Philadelphia 76ers fell 119-103 to the Miami Heat in Game 2 Wednesday night. They are now 0-2 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals series heading into Game 3 in Philadelphia. While the series is far from over, especially if Joel Embiid can make a comeback, many Sixers fans are losing hope.

However, Tyrese Maxey isn't waving the white flag just yet. After the loss, he shared optimism about getting back into the series.

Sixers editor Ky Carlin tweeted the young point guard's postgame comment regarding the remainder of the series.

This optimism shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who watched Game 2 or any of Maxey's gameplay this year. He has been absolutely electric throughout his second year in the league, providing the Sixers with energy and speed, especially in transition.

His biggest display of heart arguably came from the loss Wednesday night. It was obvious that Maxey fought until the very end of the game to keep his team alive. The 21-year-old put up 34 points in 43 minutes of action.

Maxey is right, the Sixers do still have some hope, despite starting the series 0-2. They were on the road the first two games and will host the Heat in Philadelphia for Game 3 on Friday. And, there's a possibility that Joel Embiid rejoins his team Friday night. He missed the beginning of the series due to a right orbital fracture and mild concussion suffered in Game 6 of the first round.
