Philadelphia 76ers second-year shooting guard Markelle Fultz expects to play again this season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Markelle Fultz is with the Sixers today, as the team is in Boston taking on the Celtics. The former No. 1 overall pick is currently rehabbing from thoracic outlet syndrome.

Before he was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, Markelle Fultz was averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in 19 contests. The 20-year-old combo guard was shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from beyond the arc and 56.8 percent from the free-throw line.
Markelle Fultz has been rehabbing his injury away from the team in Los Angeles under the close eye of Raymond Brothers, who is Fultz's agent and attorney. There have been rumors circulating that the Sixers could trade Fultz when he’s cleared to play basketball again.
Wojnarowski is reporting Philly has fielded trade calls for Markelle Fultz, but that the organization is holding onto him for now and wants to see how this rehab process goes.
Markelle Fultz's first two seasons in the NBA have been a non stop fiasco. He only played in 14 games during his rookie season due to scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder. Many thought this season would be better since he had a summer to work on his jump shot. That hasn't been the case unfortunately.
