Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the despised Boston Celtics on Thursday night in TD Garden, and he produced this sparkling highlight during the night’s events.

Embiid was called out by Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley on TNT’s Inside the NBA earlier in the week, and the 7’ big man even responded to the comments in the media prior to the game against Boston.

Both Shaq and Chuck believed that Embiid was lacking that “killer” gene that made all the best players (of their generation at least) the players that they were. Despite his lack of “killer instinct,” Embiid is still a two-time All-Star with career averages of 24 points per game, 12.4 rebounds per game, 3.2 assists per game and 1.9 blocks per game.

While he might not “want it enough” sometimes, he is still a clear-cut All-NBA and All-Star-caliber player – no matter what players of previous generations might think.
