The drafting of Ben Simmons last offseason and Markelle Fultz in this year's NBA Draft constitute a glowing hope for Philadelphia 76ers faithful, but by the looks of it “The Process” might take a lot longer to be completed.

Everyone from lefty Justin Anderson to sharpshooters Robert Covington and J.J. Redick found themselves missing bucket after bucket in a no-contact fake-and-go drill that will make most fans cringe while others wonder if it's indeed a pro team that is being recorded.

While there are surely exciting prospects like Simmons, Fultz, Dario Saric, and The Process himself, Joel Embiid, it'll likely take some time for all their talents to jell and carve out a string of games to propel them to compete at a high level.

The Sixers have been victims of many injuries throughout the years and will prioritize health over anything else, hopeful that they can make this equation work by the start of the NBA season.

The players will need to hit a lot more than what was shown from their practice if they hope to contend with teams like the Toronto Raptors, the Washington Wizards, and the always-threatening Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.
