Noted LeBron James hater, Skip Bayless, not only took a shot at The King Thursday night, but also blasted the Houston Rockets.

Houston had the best record in the NBA last season. This year, however, they have started the year 4-6 and look lost on both ends of the floor. The loss of Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute in free agency has hurt the Rockets on defense, while the addition of Carmelo Anthony has been a disaster so far.

In typical Skip Bayless fashion, the TV personality says the Rockets' woes might help LeBron James and the Lakers sneak into the playoffs this season in the rugged Western Conference.

The Lakers are 5-6 on the season and have one of worst defenses in the NBA as well. Many around the league questioned LeBron James’ move to the Lakers after the superstar signed a four-year free agent deal with them. The roster appears nowhere near ready to compete for a championship and the Lakers might even struggle to make the playoffs, considering James is surrounded by a lot of young players and guys who don’t really fit well next to him.

There's still a lot of basketball left to be played for the Rockets and Lakers to turn things around. But the early returns aren't good in Houston or Los Angeles.
