PSG Women's player Amanita Diallo was arrested on Wednesday after she allegedly hired masked individuals to raid her car and purposely injure her teammates last Thursday night.

French outlets have reported that Kheira Hamraoui was one of the victims. The hitman apparently took a metal bar to her legs. PSG released this statement on the matter:

“Paris Saint-Germain condemns in the strongest possible terms the violence committed,” PSG said. “Since Thursday evening the club has taken all necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of its entire women’s team.”

Aside from being teammates on the PSG Women's side, Diallo and Hamraoui play together on the France National Team as well. It appears Diallo purposely did this because they're both midfielders and do compete for minutes.

Hamraoui had to get stitches on her hands and legs after the attack. No other names were released as to who was in the car at the time. Hamraoui just re-joined the PSG Women's team this past summer from Barcelona but previously played for the club from 2012-2016. Diallo meanwhile just started for the French giants on Tuesday in a 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League. Needless to say, things took a quick turn for her.

It seems likely that Diallo will be let go by PSG following the police investigation. It's unknown how serious Hamraoui's injuries are at the moment.
