Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane seems to be enjoying life at his new club. The English striker left Tottenham Hotspur to join the Bundesliga champions in this window.

According to the reports from Fabrizio Romano, Kane drew a comparison between the ambitions at Spurs and Bayern Munich. He said, “We wanted to win at Tottenham Hotspur… but if you went a couple of games without winning, it wasn’t a disaster. At Bayern, you HAVE to win every game”.

“After winning 3-1 and 4-0 first two games… there was talk about not being too happy about the way we played! Top club mentality”.

This is some difference in ambitions for Kane. Considered to be one of the greatest players in Premier League history, Kane has gone the entirety of his career without a silverware. We can safely say that Tottenham Hotspur and chairman Daniel Levy are huge reasons for that embarrassing stat.

Kane has once finished runners-up in the Premier League and the Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur. Moreover, he reached the finals of the English League Cup twice. He also reached the finals of the European Championships in 2021 with England but finished runners-up to Italy.

Kane's trophy hunt after leaving Tottenham Hotspur didn't start well at all. His Bayern Munich side lost 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the DFL-SuperCup final. Will the trophy curse finally end at Bayern Munich? Well, it is extremely likely because the German giants do have a habit of landing the Bundesliga title every season. Moreover, they won the Champions League as recently as 2020.
