The San Antonio Spurs season came to an abrupt end on Wednesday night going one-and-done in the Play-In tournament. Dejounte Murray didn't have his best game, but that doesn't take away from the All-Star season that he had.

The Spurs point guard sent out a message via Twitter to his supporters after his incredible year.

β€œYear 6 Done And Over. 😯 Thank You To Everyone Who Supported Me All SZN Long. The Real And Genuine Love Goes A Long Way. You Either With Me Or Against Me. πŸ’― I Get 5 Months To Get Better, Stronger And Smarter To Take My Game To A BIG TIME Level!!! 🀘🏼 #DM5 πŸ–€ See Ya Later!!! 😀,” said the Spurs star.

Dejounte Murray had a rough outing in the Spurs' 113-103 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans to end their season. He finished with 16 points on 5-for-19 shooting from the field.

But one bad game doesn't take away from his breakout season. He led the Spurs in scoring (21.1 per game), assists (9.2 per game), steals (2.0 per game) and was even second in rebounding (8.3 per game).

Dejounte Murray was the engine that kept the Spurs running throughout the year and he's only going to get better next season.
