Dejounte Murray of the San Antonio Spurs had his best game of the season in their hard-earned 105-110 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday. He finished with a team-high 27 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and more astoundingly, a career-high eight steals. After the game, DeMar DeRozan had the perfect joke for Murray's inspired performance.
Per Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News, DeRozan is now being extra cautious about inviting Murray to his house.
DeMar says Dejounte Murray is longer invited to his house after tonight's performance: "He might steal something."

Murray did everything on the court as he almost finished with a unique triple-double. He was also pretty efficient, missing just nine of his 20 shots as he bounced back from a string of mediocre showings.
DeRozan, for his part, chipped in 21 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists in the win against the Warriors.
Kidding aside, DeRozan also heaped praises on the 24-year-old Murray, saying the young guard wants to absorb the lessons he gets from Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who's known to be one of the toughest tacticians in NBA history.
Murray defended DeRozan from critics early this season and it looks like their relationship continues to deepen as the season goes along.

The NBA season seems to have the makings of a breakout year for the Murray. The 29th overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft is averaging career-highs of 15.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game as the Spurs continue to showcase their keen eye for under-the-radar talent.
The Spurs have won three straight games and six of their last 10 assignments. Dejounte Murray has been a big part of the surge as they improved to 14-10 and hope to make a return to the NBA Playoffs after missing the bus last season.
