After a quick exit from the first round of the playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs will have many choices to make on the future of this current roster. For veterans Pau Gasol and Tony Parker, retirement is out of the question.

Asked if he wanted to remain with the Spurs, Parker didn't skip a beat.

“Of course, I said it already,” noted the 35-year-old French international, having finished his 17th season in the league.

Gasol was a lot more effusive in his resolve, telling reporters there's still more in the cards for his future.

“I have plenty of gas in the tank,” said the 37-year-old Gasol. “I feel like I can do plenty of things on the floor. Hopefully, in my mind, I can play another 3-4 years at least. That's what's on my mind.”

“Knowing that, I'll also take it one year at a time. I'm always sure that I don't try to do too much or look too forward into the future.”

Another veteran in the verge of making a career-impacting decision is Manu Ginobili, who vowed to think it over during the next few months, once again evaluating his future in the sport after he's gauged the potential with his family.

The Spurs' elder statesman at 40 years of age, signed a two-year, $5 million deal with the team this past offseason, which would expire at the end of the 2018-19 season.
