Free agent forward Marcus Morris shocked the San Antonio Spurs when word broke that he was re-considering signing with the team after agreeing to a two-year, $20 million contract. Now, the decision has left the Spurs scrambling in search of a wing player to replace Morris in case he does decide to skip town on San Antonio, per Yahoo's Chris Haynes.

The most likely alternative destination for Morris is the New York Knicks. Reports claim that New York is willing to up Morris' wages significantly, offering him a one-year, $15 million deal. If Morris takes the Knicks' offer, the Spurs will have to go back to free agency to find his replacement. Unfortunately, there are not too many options left, and most quality wings have already been taken off the board.

One potential option is Justin Holiday. He is an unrestricted free agent who last played for the Memphis Grizzlies. Last season, the 6-foot-6 wing averaged 10.5 points a game while shooting 35 percent from beyond the arc. While he could help the Spurs with some offensive pop off the bench, he doesn't have the experience or the defensive chops that Morris would bring to the team.

Another option is Kelly Oubre Jr. The young lefty is a solid scorer, averaging 15.2 points last season in time split between the Washington Wizards and the Phoenix Suns. However, like Holiday, he lacks the experience and basketball IQ that Morris brings.

Only time can tell if Marcus Morris will don the grey and black or be playing his home games in Madison Square Garden this coming season.
