Stephen A. Smith is on the offensive again, and this time around, he has redirected his anger towards San Antonio Spurs want-away star Kawhi Leonard.

In a recent rant on air, Smith labelled Leonard as a scared, heartless individual who he believes should stop making excuses.

Smith's tirade is in response to Leonard recently confirming months of rumors about his broken relationship with the Spurs and his desire to jump ship. According to the ESPN anchor, Leonard's actions are inexcusable, and that the former Finals Most Valuable just needs to stop.

A lot of people have been on the fence with regard to the tension between Leonard and his employer. Both have built highly-regarded reputations over the past years, and without having a definitive view of the entire picture, it has become much more complicated than just picking a side.

Leonard has always been known as the head down workhorse who refuses to be in the spotlight. On the other end, Gregg Popovich and Spurs are one of the more respected and reputable organizations in the league. There are definitely two sides to this story, but as proven in his most recent outburst, we all know which side Stephen A. Smith is taking.

With this recent development, the 2018 offseason is quickly becoming one of the most chaotic in recent history. Between LeBron James' The Decision 3.0, and Paul George's back-and-forth exploits, there was already so much going on. Oh, and let us not forget the fact that the 2018 draft class is just absolutely packed.

Good times ahead for all of us NBA fans.
