The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) roster is finally nearing its completion. The final DLC fighter’s announcement is coming this October 5th through the final SSBU Direct, presented by Masahiro Sakurai.

Nintendo announced during the September Nintendo Direct that Director Masahiro Sakurai will announce the final DLC fighter in a live stream on October 5. The internet has been going crazy regarding who could potentially be the final DLC fighter in Smash. Finally, the era of rumors and speculations of who the next DLC fighter is, are coming to a close. 

Masahiro Sakurai’s final presentation of the next DLC fighter will go live at 10 am ET. The last SSBU Direct presentation will include the usual such as gameplay and an in-depth explanation of how to use the character. This will also include the showcasing of different outfits and probably the reason why they chose the final DLC fighter.

The last DLC fighter will officially be the 82nd fighter to join the SSBU roster, making the game the most expansive in the entire franchise. It'll be interesting to see where the series will go from here. New Smash Bros. games usually come out along every one of Nintendo's consoles. But with no new console on the horizon, it makes use wonder when the next game will come out.
