The Pittsburgh Steelers remain the top team in the AFC North division Ben Roethlisberger and company sitting at 7-5 heading into Week 14.

Although the Steelers remain the team to beat in the division, the Baltimore Ravens aren't far behind and continue to put pressure on Mike Tomlin's squad. Along with dealing with the backlash of criticizing his teammates, namely Antonio Brown, Roethlisberger also spoke out about his distaste for people getting worked up over the team's run-pass ratio, via Sean Gentille of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“I don't think that there's any reason for people to get worked up over the number of runs compared to passes,” he said. “People are always going to get worked up over the numbers, when you lose especially. I don't know if people would get as worked up if we would have won the game. That's why [Randy Fichtner is] the OC and calls the plays for us, and I think we're all just fine with the run-pass ratio. We just want to win.”

In the past few weeks, Roethlisberger has been airing it out with a lot more passing than running the football for Pittsburgh. The veteran quarterback took to relying on the pass much more recently with the highest total in the last three weeks being 58 attempts.

Unfortunately for the Steelers, Pittsburgh has lost two of the last three games and now may have to rely on Roethlisberger even more with running back James Conner already being ruled out for Week 14's matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

It'll be interesting to see if the Steelers can bounce back after two straight losses and Roethlisberger getting a heavy workload with the playoffs drawing near.
