Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a bit of tumultuous offseason, which saw the quarterback lose his superstar wide receiver in Antonio Brown, and also dealt with rumors that he threw teammates and coaches under the bus. With a new season fast approaching, Roethlisberger is now reportedly on the fence about whether or not he will be continuing his weekly radio shows.

Although Roethlisberger initially was rumored to be dropping the radio show after last season, the quarterback said in May (via Pro Football Talk) that a decision has yet to be made. During the Steelers training camp earlier today, Roethlisberger said that the future of the show is still under consideration, and a decision doesn’t have to be just yet.

The radio show – which took place every week during the season – was a great way to get a glimpse into Roethlisberger’s mind, but the quarterback did have a penchant for making headlines and stories about his comments. After Brown's departure, the wide receiver made it no secret that the comments Roethlisberger would make about both him and the team had a negative effect on him, and was part of the reason why he had initially wanted to leave the team.

Whether or not Roethlisberger continues the radio show is up to him, but he has spoken this offseason about being better in regards to making comments about the team in general. Now, his focus seems to be solely fixed on trying to help the Steelers get back into the playoffs and compete for another Super Bowl title.
