The Pittsburgh Steelers were without starting cornerback Joe Haden in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hamstring injury. But it looks as if the veteran is set to make his return to the lineup on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

The Steelers missed Haden against the Chiefs as their pass defense was torched by Patrick Mahomes to the tune of 326 yards and six touchdowns in a 42-37 defeat.

Haden’s absence obviously wasn’t the sole reason the Steelers secondary was smoked so badly by the Chiefs. But it won’t hurt to have him back, especially as they face another red-hot quarterback in the Bucs’ Ryan Fitzpatrick, who’s thrown for 400 yards and four touchdowns in each of his first two games.

The Bucs also have one of the more impressive receiving corps in the league to start the season in Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, and Chris Godwin. Haden's health will be put to the test while attempting to cover those capable wideouts, especially the speedy Jackson. Even fully healthy cornerbacks have struggled to contain those three, so the Steelers will have their hands full.

Hopefully, Haden's hamstrings can hold up just enough to slow down a Bucs offense that has already torched the Saints and Eagles secondaries through two weeks.
