JuJu Smith-Schuster is one of the pillars for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense. However, it seems like he may have to tone his intensity down a bit during practice as he is nursing a foot injury.

The Steelers have had a rough start to the season after suffering an embarrassing defeat to the New England Patriots. Gregg Bell's tweet showed that they took a hit against the Super Bowl LIII champs and may field a slightly battered against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Steelers fans were worried that their star wideout might have to sit out Week 2 after suffering an injury at the end of their lopsided loss to the Pats. Fortunately for fans, the x-ray results on his toe came back negative and should be able to play against the Seahawks.

The USC product has become the number one passing option for the Steelers after Antonio Brown's departure. Being the team's leading and only dangerous option, he will get double-teamed by most teams in the league.

However, head coach Mike Tomlin believes that the USC product should be able to handle the pressure that comes with the double coverage.

Per ProFootballTalk:

“He’s used to that,” Tomlin told reporters covering the Seahawks on Sunday. “He faced double teams a year ago. A lot of people [are] capable of doubling two people on possession-like situations. That was often a tactic that was employed against us a year ago where they doubled him and Antonio [Brown]. Him facing double teams particularly in situational football is not anything new.”

Smith-Schuster is entering his third year in the NFL with the Steelers. He came off a Pro Bowl season where he made 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns. The team will expect him to play strong football against the Seahawks to get their season back on track.
