When the San Antonio Spurs announced that Kawhi Leonard will be sidelined for Game 4 of their Western Conference Finals series, the Golden State Warriors knew they will once again play against a team without their best player.

In a potential close out game, the task for the Dubs becomes easier as Leonard contributes a lot to the Spurs on both ends of the floor. Stephen Curry couldn't hide his excitement when he found out the two-time Defensive Player of the Year is not playing, and even liked the Instagram post made by Slam Online, reporting the development.

Without Leonard in the past two games, the Dubs have won by an average of 24 points. The Spurs clearly miss his presence as they have struggled scoring, as well as defending their opponent's stars, including Kevin Durant, who the 25-year-old San Diego State product should've been guarding.

If the Spurs don't make it past the conference finals, it can be considered a disappointing season for them, especially in the manner of how they could go down. It could also be the last game in Manu Ginobili‘s stellar career, which could mean the team needs another guard to step up in his absence starting next season.
