Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admits that it feels a whole lot different playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers without LeBron James.

The Warriors and the Cavaliers battled it out in four NBA finals in the last four years. Kerr acknowledged the memories that were built in the classic games between them. However, the wine and gold are a whole lot different now. Kerr says that without the polarizing figure in James, it feels different just walking into the Quicken Loans Arena. Per Ryan Young of Yahoo Sports:

“It’s just different walking into the building,” Kerr said Wednesday. “There’s still a ton of great memories, some of the best basketball I’ve ever seen in my life played between these two teams over the last four seasons. Obviously they have a new team, so you move on. Part of me is a little nostalgic for that. I’ll miss that.”

As every avid basketball fan knows, the Warriors won three of their four NBA Finals duels. Their only loss came in 2016 when they blew a 3-1 series lead. To make it more heartbreaking, the Warriors won 73 games in the regular season that year. Most fans joked that the NBA should hand them the trophy already.

They vowed to take their revenge and they exactly did just that. Though its already embedded in the memories of many that a 73-win team blew a 3-1 lead, it's also true this same team has been dominating the NBA for four years. According to analysts, if everything goes well internally, they might remain on top for more years to come.
