The Phoenix Suns have made it clear they won't involve soon-to-be third year phenom Devin Booker in trade talks with the New York Knicks in search for Kristaps Porzingis, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The Knicks formerly offered Porzingis for Booker and the No. 4 pick in this year's draft — a proposal that was quickly shut down by the Suns.

New York president Phil Jackson is reportedly seeking picks that would reflect how Porzingis would likely be the No. 1 pick in the draft this year or the next, intent on walking away with high draft picks and young talent to rebuild.

His demands are surely hefty for an executive who has dangled not only his fallen star in Carmelo Anthony at the end of last season, but also his best future player in Porzingis, clearly more than willing to listen to offers for the 7-foot-3 unicorn.

The Suns are looking for that big man presence that the Latvian international can bring, but likely will step down their price due to the mere fact that Jackson is selling his star player and the unnerving injury history he's shown his last year.

Booker not only has shown a clean bill of health during his first two years in the league, but made an impressive leap to the starting shooting guard role at the beginning of the season, averaging 22.1 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game in 2016-17.
