The Phoenix Suns have not had the start to the 2023-24 campaign that they were likely hoping for, and a big reason for that is because their new big three of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal have only played in one game together. Thankfully, it sounds like that number could be set to increase as soon as this upcoming weekend.

While each of these three superstars have dealt with injury issues to start the season, Beal has missed far and away the most time on the court, playing in just six games due to back and ankle injuries. Beal has missed Phoenix's past five games with his latest ankle ailment, but reports have surfaced suggesting that his return to action is right around the corner.

At 15-15, the Suns are playing way below expectations so far this season, but that's due in large part to Beal's extended absences. Phoenix went all in to build their team around Booker, Durant, and Beal, so much so that when one guy is out, it requires the other two to step up in a big way for them to even have a shot to win games.

Beal is approaching a return to action, but the Suns have a lot of work to do to make up for their slow start to the campaign. Getting their three superstars comfortable playing alongside each other would go a long way towards achieving that goal, and the sooner Beal can return, the better off the Suns will be.
