Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul had a sterling reviewed prepared for Mikal Bridges after their game against the Indiana Pacers. The 10-time All-Star mainly heaped praise on the sophomore not just for his skills as a player but also as a person and a teammate off the court, per Gerald Bourguet.

Head coach Monty Williams also spoke highly of Bridges due to his great attitude as a young player in the league, via Bourguet.

Indeed, Bridges exhibited his capabilities on both ends of the floor as he broke out with a career-high tally of 34 points on 6-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc along with three rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes. Devin Booker added 25 points and seven assists while Paul notched 15 points and 10 assists for the Suns.

Their collaborative effort as a unit helped fend off Domantas Sabonis' huge performance bannered by his 28 points and 22 rebounds for the Pacers. Malcolm Brogdon also dealt damage with 22 points, six rebounds, and nine assists of his own.

The Suns eventually ran away with a 125-117 victory against the Pacers to improve to a 7-3 record for a first-place tie with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Pacers slipped to a 6-3 record for the third spot in the Eastern Conference.

After the game, the Suns players celebrated Bridges' career outing and welcomed him with an ice bucket shower in the locker room:

Hopefully, the budding chemistry formed between Chris Paul and his new teammates will be enough to sustain their impressive showing all throughout the season. They will aim to snag their second consecutive victory as they visit the Washington Wizards on Jan. 11.
