There might be more pressure for the Milwaukee Bucks heading to Game 3 of the NBA Finals, but that doesn't mean things are easier for Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns. In fact, one can say they are just facing as much pressure as the East champions.

With the Bucks needing a win to make it a series and give themselves a chance for a comeback, it only means the Suns can't afford to lose and give Milwaukee the momentum they need to extend the series further. CP3 knows it very well, which is why he said Sunday's showdown is the most important game of the year for Phoenix.

“For us, the biggest game of the year is tomorrow. Tomorrow. It's a must-win game for us. We got to come out with that mindset,” Paul shared, per Gerald Bourguet of Fan Sided.

The Suns are up 2-0 against the Bucks, but as everyone knows, no lead is safe in the NBA. This is the reason why Chris Paul and Co. must close out the series as fast as possible and avoid giving Milwaukee the confidence and hope that they can actually win it all.

Of course, as seen in the first two games, the Suns are clearly the better, more balanced and deeper team compared to the Bucks. However, the presence of generational talent like Giannis Antetokounmpo is more than enough to give Milwaukee a fighting chance.

The Bucks are going into Game 3 with some desperation and added motivation, so as Paul said, the Suns better be ready for a dogfight.
