Chris Paul has been a key cog for the Phoenix Suns in their first-round series matchup against the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers. The 10-time All-Star appeared to re-aggravate his shoulder injury during the Suns' Game 5 demolition job of LeBron James and Co., but as it turns out, CP3 should be good to go for what could be a series-clinching Game 6 for Phoenix.

Paul went down in the third quarter of Tuesday's matchup after a collision with Lakers swingman Wesley Matthews. The Suns guard was clearly in significant pain as he rushed back to the bench clutching his right shoulder:

On Wednesday, Suns general manager James Jones was asked about Paul's injury status heading into Game 6 on Thursday, and the high-ranking executive is adamant that CP3 will be able to take the floor:

“Chris is fine. We’ll be ready to go, he’ll be ready to go,” Jones told Arizona Sports’ Burns & Gambo on Wednesday. “I think he’s shown over the course of his career and specifically recently that if he’s able to help his team he’ll be out there. We’ll be good and we’ll get ready for a battle.”

This is great news for Suns fans. However, it is clear that Paul is not a hundred percent. He could also be placed in some sort of minutes limit, which was the case in Phoenix's Game 2 loss. Nevertheless, the fact that CP3 will be able to suit up for Phoenix on Thursday is an undeniably huge development for the Suns, as they look to take out the mighty Lakers in Game 6.
