Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has done something that only Kobe Bryant was able to do in the last 12 years: score 20 or more first-half points in five straight games.

Booker recorded his fifth straight 20-point half against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, putting up 28 markers before halftime.

Only Bryant had five consecutive games wherein he scored 20-plus in the first half, something which he did back in the 2006-07 season. The Los Angeles Lakers great had an incredible March stretch back then, scoring 50 or more points in four games in a row before capping it with a 43-point performance.

For his part, Devin Booker has been on an amazing scoring run lately. In fact, before the Suns' game with the Grizzlies, he recorded back-to-back 50-point performances.

The 22-year-old shooting guard just came up two points short of another 50 against Memphis, as he finished with 48 markers. Remarkably, Booker did it efficiently, going 19-of-29 from the field including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Booker also had 11 assists to go along with three rebounds in almost 43 minutes of action.

Unfortunately for the Suns, they wasted another brilliant effort from their star man. The team lost their sixth straight game despite Booker's heroics and bowed down to the Grizz, 120-115.
