Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was spotted at a rest stop near Sedona, Arizona along with model Kendall Jenner. The two were trying to keep a low profile after getting out of Bookers' Maybach, according to TMZ Sports.
This pops to the eye considering the recent guidelines of social distancing instated around the country.
While a few witnesses asserted Booker and Jenner looked like a couple during their time at the rest stop, sources close to the two insist to TMZ they're just friends:
“Kendall and friends have a small social circle amongst the group, who have been following the same social distancing and physical distancing guidelines,” said a TMZ source. “Devin is a friend and is part of the small group. They took a road trip for some much-needed air.”
Social distancing guidelines only validates circles as those who live in the same household. Jenner is based in Beverly Hills while Booker still resides in Phoenix, awaiting word from the NBA as to when the 2019-20 season will resume.
Jenner previously dated Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons, but the couple have since parted ways amicably.
A source told this to Us Weekly at the time:
“Kendall and Ben are not officially back together. They both like having a no-strings-attached type of relationship with each other, for the most part. They both work and travel frequently and don’t find it very realistic to be in an exclusive relationship with one another. They do really like each other though and love spending time together.”
Jenner was previously seen on a social distance drive with another ex, Harry Styles, in early April. She was in a car while he was on a motorcycle next to her.
As for Booker, the Suns star noted weeks ago that his mother and sister were isolated from his house, turning to play family games like Uno and Sorry! through FaceTime.
However, everyone needs a little air every now and again.
