Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker fouled out late in Game 4 of their Western Conference Finals series against the Los Angeles Clippers. However, it seems former NBA coach and current sports commentator Mark Jackson was not paying attention.

Booker got his sixth personal foul in the game after a foul call on Patrick Beverley was overturned. The Suns guard had to leave the contest, but during the broadcast, Jackson actually said Monty Williams was taking Booker out to avoid him getting fouled out. Yikes!

Whether it's an honest mistake after Jackson lost count of the fouls of the Suns scorer or he's really not paying attention to the game, the mini blunder didn't escape the fans watching the game. On Twitter, several  people trolled the commentator for the mistake that should not have happened at all if he was watching.

Here are some of the funniest reaction:

Poor Mark Jackson. To be fair, it's hard to blame him if he fell asleep at some point during the contest. After all, the low-scoring game was truly painful to watch in the second half as both teams struggled to make their shots.

To  put that into better perspective, the Suns shot 31-0f-86 from the field (36.1 percent) while the Clippers finished with a 27-of-83 shooting clip (32.5 percent). The game ended with a final score of 84-80 after the first half ended 50-36. It means Phoenix scored just 34 in the final 24 minutes of play, and they could have lost had they not built a bigger lead in the opening frame.

So maybe we can cut Jackson some slack? He probably lost any interest in the game at that point, especially with Devin Booker going out.
