Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker breaks the hearts of Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks with an epic game-winner on Monday.

With the Mavs ahead 108-106 with less than five seconds remaining, the Suns had the option to go for the tie or to win the game with a three. Surprisingly, Booker chose the latter and took a contested triple over the outstretched arms of Josh Richardson.

After the timeout, Rick Carlisle set a play to free Luka Doncic for a shot. As Doncic caught the ball on the inbound, however, he immediately launched a 3-point shot but over a Suns' double-team.

Luka's shot did not go in, handing the Mavs a gut-wrenching 109-108 defeat and a second-straight loss to the Suns.

With the game-winning shot, Devin Booker finished the contest with 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting. Chris Paul led the way for Phoenix with 34 points, nine rebounds and nine assists on the night.

Doncic, once again, led the Mavs against the Suns, albeit in a losing effort. The Slovenian superstar finished with Dallas with 25 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks. Josh Richardson also had a good game with with 24 points, five boards, two dimes and two steals. Unfortunately, Carlisle's squad are now on a six-game losing skid.
