Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is officially listed as questionable ahead of the team's game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night, but it sounds like there's only a slim chance that he'll actually play.

Booker has missed Phoenix's past two games due to back spasms, and it appears that he could miss a third when the team prepares for a showdown with the Nuggets.

From Suns beat writer Duane Rankin:

Update: Devin Booker is listed as questionable for tonight's game vs. #Nuggets with back spasms, but Igor Kokoskov said it's a slim chance he'll play. Missed last 2 games after missing 2nd half vs. Charlotte w/injury. 1st hurt back taking a charge vs. Denver last week.

Booker is averaging 24.8 points, 6.9 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game in 35.2 minutes per game this season, and obviously, it's not ideal to have him possibly sidelined against the best team in the Western Conference.

The Suns continue to struggle having posted just a 10-33 record on the season, with their lone win of the new year thus far coming against the Sacramento Kings earlier in the week.

After the matchup with the Nuggets, the Suns will prepare for a difficult stretch of four straight games away from that.

That'll start with the Indiana Pacers next Tuesday, who also figure to present plenty of challenges for Booker and company.
