Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker appears primed to re-join his team for Phoenix's next game. The 24-year-old missed last Sunday's All-Star Game due to injury, but according to Suns general manager James Jones, Booker's knee problem does not appear to be anything serious.

James played down Booker's knee sprain, saying that the Suns guard should be able to return to action sooner rather than later:

“He's good,” Jones said Tuesday afternoon, during an interview with Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic. “We'll re-evaluate it. He could've played if he had to. If it's the playoffs, he would've been playing, but it's not. It's an All-Star game.”

Booker was selected as a replacement for the injured Anthony Davis for the All-Star Game. However, the Suns star was a late scratch due to the knee problem, with first-time All-Star Mike Conley taking over his spot.

To be clear, Jones did not confirm if Booker will be able to suit up for Thursday's tilt against the Portland Trail Blazers. The injury does sound minor, though, so there's a good chance that Booker takes the floor against the Blazers.

Phoenix is one of the hottest teams in the league right now. They entered the All-Star break on a four-game winning streak, and they are now ranked second in the Western Conference. Currently, they are hot on the tracks of the first-placed Utah Jazz, who themselves have lost two straight.

Booker has been outstanding for the Suns so far this season, and it goes without saying that the team's success moving forward will rely heavily on his consistency the rest of the way.
