The Phoenix Suns might have to finish out the rest of this series without Devin Booker. The guard suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain in Tuesday night's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, and the most recent update is less than ideal.

The injury is expected to keep Booker sidelined for two to three weeks. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted the news Thursday afternoon.

In other words, the Suns will likely have to play the remainder of their first round series extremely shorthanded. And, if they pull off a series win, they'll most likely be without Booker for the beginning of the Conference Semifinals.

This is a huge blow for the Suns, a team that heavily relies on Booker's offensive productivity. He dominated in Game 2 before suffering the injury, putting up 31 points in only 24 minutes.

Fortunately, Booker isn't the only star power on the Suns, and he isn't the only reason they're the top team in the NBA. Chris Paul outscored and out-assisted his Phoenix teammates in Game 1, leading them to the win with 30 points and 10 assists. Deandre Ayton has been a huge presence on both offense and defense, leading the team in postseason rebounds.

Two games in, the Suns and Pelicans are tied 1-1, despite being the first and eighth seeds in the West. The series continues Friday night with Game 3 in New Orleans.
