Eric Bledsoe isn't sweating his time off the basketball court, going into a little over a week away from the Phoenix Suns' facilities.

The 6-foot-1 point guard is coming off a career-high season, but was sent home from practice by general manager Ryan McDonough last Monday after he expressed his desire to leave Phoenix last weekend via Twitter.

Bledsoe has collected $738,000 since being sent home (eight days) and will continue to earn an increase of $82,000 per day while it continues, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.

Since Bledsoe was sent home by orders of the front office and is not facing suspension or the violation of any team rules, he's eligible to receive his paycheck as usual, even if he never puts on the Suns jersey again — a bit that can cost the organization royally if they don't trade him soon.

To make matters worse, McDonough had expressed that he could potentially wait until Dec. 15 when free agents signed in the offseason become eligible to be traded, giving a wider array of selections to trade for.

The Suns have been hellbent on acquiring even more young talent, especially a young point guard to run alongside talisman Devin Booker.

Phoenix's front office will have a tough decision to make, as it's basically money down the drain for every day Bledsoe is off the court.
