Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. posted a cryptic message on Twitter, generating speculations about his future.

Oubre will be a restricted free agent after the 2018-19 NBA season. The 23-year-old posted a line on Twitter, talking about the business side of things in the league.

While it is a lyric excerpt from a DJ Khaled song called “Weathering The Storm”, it remains unclear what the purpose of the tweet means and if it has something to do with his impending free agency. But based on the reactions, most fans are speculating that it is about his relationship with the Suns. Several Suns fans replied to the post, saying that they want him to stay in Phoenix.

Oubre played 40 games with the Suns this season after he was traded from the Washington Wizards, where he spent the first three full seasons of his NBA career. During his stint in Phoenix, he averaged career-highs 16.9 points on 45.3 percent shooting from the field, 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.

The former Kansas standout eventually ended up as the third-leading scorer for the Suns, only behind franchise superstar Devin Booker and fifth-year forward TJ Warren. Aside from his scoring ability, Oubre also earned praises with his defense and the energy he brought to the young squad after the trade in December.
