The Phoenix Suns were unable to close out Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. It was a closely contested series but in the end, Phoenix was unable to advance in the NBA Playoffs. Patrick Beverley had some spicy takes for the series, as he absolutely roasted Chris Paul on Monday morning.
According to Barstool Sports, Beverley voiced his opinion on Paul's defensive abilities by calling him a traffic cone. His rant takes Stephen A. Smith by surprise as Patrick Beverley leisurely roasts the Suns' point guard. The Minnesota Timberwolves players have been extremely vocal with their distaste for Phoenix and this take might be the funniest one we've heard so far.

Patrick Beverley doesn't hold back as he criticizes Chris Paul's defensive ability. He might have a point though, as the Mavs backcourt torched the Suns throughout the series. Additionally, Paul is well out of his prime, as he isn't the same player he used to be back in his prime. Regardless, he still plays a vital role for Phoenix.
Even so, Beverley refuses to hold back here and dishes a hilarious take about the Suns' point guard. It's rare to see Stephen A. Smith speechless, so props to Patrick Beverley for doing the impossible.
Now, the Suns head home and will be watching the remainder of the NBA Playoffs on the couch with everybody else. Chris Paul struggled throughout the series against the Mavs, as he routinely was bottled up by the Dallas backcourt. We'll see how the offseason plays out for Phoenix, but this organization might be making some big changes to the roster.
